Youtube Remakes

People that remake certain things and events on Youtube should be banned,

Not only do they infringe on Copyright but they are extremely annoying for everyone else.

I'm not talking about people covering songs or talking about tv shows or anything like that.

No I'm talking about people that remake things they have seen on TV such as the Dear Sister from Saturday Night Live, try searching for that on Youtube and all you'll get is page after page with people remaking it............... so stupid.

If you liked it so much just post a vid of why and not remake it.........nobody wants to see it trust me.

It's your right to make these videos but they are extremely annoying.

Aus Internet Service Providers.

This is one major problem in Australia,

Isp's in this country and no doubt many countries is that the Internet plan you select may not be what you think it is.

Most if not all Isp's in Aus have what they like to call Peak times, these times depend on your Isp and are not the same for everyone.

I'm on a 50gb a month plan with a well known ISP in Aus and we get these so called Peak times.

How They Work:

You have 2 Peak times, Onpeak and Offpeak.
This means that your internet usage is split into two parts.

Mine is Offpeak 1am-7am and Onpeak 7am-1am

So my 50gb plan is split into two 25gb parts, 25gb onpeak and 25gb offpeak.

This means after 25gb is used in either Peak time my connection is capped at a snails pace 64kbs, this means it's almost impossible to get the full 50gb out of my plan unless i download everything mb for mb on and offpeak which is impossible.

This should be considered false advertising but somehow it isn't and is perfectly legal.

What happened to the plans where you actually get what you paid for ?

James' Take On Petrol

This is a big problem and a problem that will always be around.

The price of Petroleum is a joke, i don't even drive and I'm so annoyed by what i see on a daily basis.

One major contributing factor is that the price of Petroleum in most countries is not Government subsidized, this means that the oil companies can fix Petrol prices as much as they see fit.

Service Stations play some sort of a role in this, instead of paying a set price per tank refill, they actually don't pay for the petroleum until the consumer buys it.

This means that since the Service Station doesn't pay a set price per tank the price at the bowser can fluctuate as much as the oil companies like.

This is why we see a price jump on a daily basis.

The Service Stations deny raising prices towards the end of the week but this continues to happen, they know there will be more cars on the road around Fri into the weekend so you see almost a 20c a litre raise.

In short there is no reason Petroleum is so highly priced as it is, The Government also gets a tax levy on every litre which is why they don't jump in a subsidize at all.
